METAMORPHIC ARCHES

La notion de mirage ou de vibration de l'image trouve un écho dans une impression numérique intitulée - ARCHES MÉTAMORPHIQUES N°1. Des couches de dégradés ocre donnent l'impression que le papier est fabriqué à partir de cocons de soie - les traces d'un processus de recyclage industriel élaboré, doucement secoué par l'objectif de l'appareil photographique, créant des champs de tissus ponctués de bassins peu profonds.  L'image est une empreinte qui se dissout, une surface ondulée qui se sépare en micro-couches fines d'informations.

The notion of mirage or image vibration is echoed in the photographic work, ARCHES MÉTAMORPHIQUES n°1. Layers of ocher gradation give the impression of paper being made from silk cocoons. Traces of an elaborate industrial recycling process shaken softly by the lens of the camera creating tissue fields punctuated by shallow basins.  The image is a dissolving imprint, an undulating surface separating into micro thin layers of information.
